The comic led to some great mathematical discussions while the students were working in their groups.  It expanded the problem beyond just finding the volume of a container and showed the students how volume is use in real life situations.
I'm really excited to try this activity during workstations.  I know that my special education students will really like this activity!

My students love the comics.  I have bought both volume sets.  They give a situation, them a worksheet for the students to solve.  I use these as warm up a lot.
I like this as a hook to engage students at the beginning of volume unit - real life example is great.

Very fun format! My students will LOVE this!
My students enjoyed this because it was so different from the usual type of story problems they encounter in math class.  As I passed it out, there were many grins and no one needed encouragement to begin.  How many times does that happen in math class!

Great quality for the purchase price.  There is no way I could have made this comic for this price.  Complexity of the problem was great.  I was slightly taken back upon first preview because I erroneously equated the word comic with funny -- this comic is real life but not funny.  I would buy this product again in a heartbeat.  Thanks for sharing!
